Who Is 906?
906 Theatre Company was founded by former theatre students of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. Current members include:
BRIAN ELLIOTT - Associate Producer, Actor
Brian, as the oldest of the founding members of 906, is the object of good natured contempt reserved for all those with talent and a good personality, but who's path to advancement invariably includes marrying the director. Originally from Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, and finally Michigan, Brian's first theatrical experience date back a million years ago when his parents would take him to rehearsals at the Will Rogers Theater in Claremore, OK for their productions. Much, much later, he began performing on his own in Green Bay, WI before finally making his way to Marquette, MI and beginning his theatrical journey in earnest, meeting his lovely wife and the rest of the 906 contingent. Some of his favorite performance credits include John Adams in 1776, Fred Graham in Kiss Me, Kate, Charlie Baker in The Foreigner, Roberston Ay and Von Hussler in the Fireside Theatre's production of Mary Poppins, and most recently he performed the role of Grantaire in the Fireside theatre's production of Les Miserable .

ASHLEY STEIN - Associate Producer, Actor, Associate Director
Ashley Stein is overjoyed to start the journey (and dream) that is the 906 Theatre Company. She originally hails from Mount Prospect, IL and received her theatre degree from Northern Michigan University. Ashley is a fearless performer who is up to any challenge, unless it involves eating SpaghettiOs because...gross. Some of her favorite recent roles include Florinda in Into the Woods with Edge Theatre, Angie in Enter Love with Quest Theatre Ensemble, Marsha in From Generation to Generation with Genesis Theatricals NFP and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie with PAAC. In Chicago she is an ensemble member and producer with The Public House Theatre where she performs in the Chicago sketch-staple Bye Bye Liver.

SARAH SARKA - Associate Producer, Actor, Financial Manager
Sarah Sarka is ready and eager to dive into the 906 Theatre Company. She was born in Madison, WI and grew up on a small farm where she developed her performance style in front of parents, relatives, and pigs. She eventually traveled to Northern Michigan University in order to earn a degree in Biology, which she abandoned in favor of a degree in theatre, where all the money is. Recently, Sarah has kept quiet on the theatrical front for several years before emerging (Like the common box turtle, an animal most people do not associate with hibernation, but look it up) this past summer as Cinderella in Into The Woods. Sarah is also a writer and ensemble member for The Public House Theatre.

AARON SARKA - Associate Producer, Actor, Technical Director, Marketing Manager/Social Media Director
Aaron's love of theatre dates back to his childhood in Alaska where, to stave off the cold and lonely nights, he immersed himself in as many activities as he could. While bear wrestling and whale riding never quite stuck, acting did. His theatrical pursuits took him to the small college town of Marquette, MI where he met and fell in love with his wife Sarah, during his first college production. He is quite "over-the-moon" excited to be working with some of his closest friends on the adventure that is 906. Some of his performance credits include Ash Williams in Evil Dead: The Musical, Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Johnny Flowers in Musical Of The Living Dead, and The Baker in Into The Woods, Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, and most recently as Bernard in Boeing Boeing.
